AI4DIAG LAUNCHING EVENT
April 9th 2019 – SophiaTech – Bâtiment Le Forum
Let’s Medical Diagnostics meet up with Artificial Intelligence
Conferences and BtoB meetings supported by Enterprise Europe Network
Meet the actors – your future European collaborators – in medical diagnostics and AI
Eurobiomed coordinates a European project together with 4 other European bioclusters, in order to help medical diagnostics companies to tackle the challenge of Artificial Intelligence.
The project is funded by the COSME program, which aims at fostering SMEs competitiveness through partnerships between clusters whose Regions share similar Smart Specialisation Strategies (S3).The consortium gathers 5 clusters from: France (Eurobiomed as the coordinator, with the involvement of 2 French Regions Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Occitanie), Belgium, Spain, Italy and Estonia.
During the AI4Diag project, the 5 clusters will foster the transformation of the medical diagnostics companies’ business model towards a wider use of Big Data, machine learning and artificial intelligence. For this, they will run acceleration activities such as workshops with experts, training sessions, partnering meetings, matchmaking events…
At a period where Artifical Intelligence in Health is a top priority throughout Europe, the project receives a very positive feedback by the European Commission. We truly believe this project will lead to new opportunities for SMEs, but also to the emergence of a European “Digital Diagnostic Valley”, favourable business environment and innovation ecosystem for the SMEs. And last but not least: it will enable better care and prediction services for patients.
In April, AI4Diag launching event will gather in Nice/Sophia-Antipolis European experts from diagnostics and AI in order to boost companies awareness, knowledge and business matchmaking to foster collaborations. This event will also launch the opening of applications for the joint acceleration program!
