7 european clusters européens gathered for this silicon alliance cluster forum
On the 11h of March in Business Pôle Sophia Antipolis, France
Aktantis has hosted the last Silicon Europe meeting. Despite conjunctural travel restrictions, 5 clusters were physically present, including Minalogic (France), Silicon Saxony (Germany), DSP Valley (Belgium) and GAIA (Spain), joined by MESAP (Italy) and HighTech NL (Netherlands) to discuss the main actions the Alliance for 2020
Program
The meeting was focussed mainly on the extension of the current Alliance with additional clusters in Europe, especially towards Eastern countries, and the definition of a common strategy in preparation of the coming application regarding the Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH).
DIH, which will be organisations supporting the digitalisation of SMEs in Europe, are an essential part of the 2021-2028 European innovation and digitalisation policies, that are expecting in addition a strong collaboration and complementarity between these DIH. ICT clusters such as the ones of Silicon Europe, that are already strongly collaborating at European level, are at the forefront to address these expectations
REGIONAL DIH FOR ENTERPRISES
ICT clusters such as the ones of Silicon Europe, that are already strongly collaborating at European level, are at the forefront to address these expectations. Each cluster presented its strategy towards the put in place of its own regional DIH: SCS with Move2Digital, Minalogic with Minasmart, Silicon Saxony with Smart Systems Hub, MESAP with DIH Piemonte, GAIA with Basque Digital Innovation Hub… sharing different level of organisations and progress but reflecting on common assets to bring forward, including mutualised platforms such as CIM PACA, to address the needs of digitalisation of European SMEs.
It is a step forward the emergence of such tools for the digitalisation of the European economy.
