Securing cryptographic algorithms by MRAM / CMOS hybridization
The MISTRAL project proposes an innovative MRAM / CMOS hybridization approach for securing cryptographic algorithms against hardware attacks.
The work tackles the problem of cryptographic technologies adapted to applications with very low energy consumption especially in the field of the Internet of Things. In this context, new non-volatile memory technologies such as MTTs combined with the use of so-called lightweight cryptographic algorithms (LWC) provide answers but their level of security has not yet been well evaluated, particularly in the field of physical attacks on the circuits.
