The mobile phone video market will represent 250 billion euros in 2010 and this development raises the problem of DRM content protection (Digital Rights Management); in parallel will appear more powerful SIM cards with high memory capacity.
The project is expected to provide the specifications for a standard, multi-DRM platform that can meet the needs of producers, authors and consumers of multimedia products on mobile phones.
In other words, it is a project of definition of architecture of a video decoder, with platform of management of the digital rights, integrated in the SIM card of the mobile telephones.
