STACK CIPlus 2.0

USB key for decrypting television content

The R & D project meets the expectations of pay TV operators wishing to provide their subscribers with a secure USB key in place of conventional access control systems consisting of a receiver, a CAM-type reader and a remote control system. Optional smart card that issues access rights. A USB-compatible MSTAR K1IU chip is used for the development of these new CAM modules complying with the DVB CI Plus 2.0 standard. The DVB CI Plus 2.0 version was released in November 2018 by ETSI (TS 103 605 V1.1.1.).

The DVB CI Plus 2.0 Stack allows you to develop any type of USB module that supports the main Access Controls on the market. The objective of the project is to complete the DVB CI Plus 2.0 certification with the certification body.
